Mark Moriarty

Mark is an award winning Chef, TV host and Author, based in Dublin, Ireland A recognised face in both Irish and International food, Mark is best known for presenting a host of TV series including “Off Duty Chef” “Cook Like a Chef” and “Beyond the Menu”. His debut cookbook ‘Flavour’ won the An Post Irish cookbook of the year while his follow up title ‘Season’ was a #1 bestseller. As Stanley Tucci put it: “I’ve eaten Marks food and now I’ve read his book. Mouthwatering. Literally. Buy it”. Mark began working in kitchens at the age of 16 and trained in a host of Michelin starred restaurants in Ireland and further afield. He was sous chef at The Greenhouse under Mickael Viljanen, which held 2 Michelin stars. Mark works with number of leading brands, creating cutting edge food experiences with the likes of San Pellegrino, Johnnie Walker, Nespresso, M&S and Volvo. While he doesn’t have a restaurant, he hosts regular private dining events as well as partnering with The Dead Rabbit in New York City. Mark is the food writer for The Irish Times and proud brand ambassador for M&S Ireland. He is a former San Pellegrino World Young chef of the year and was listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 for innovation in the arts.
