I was introduced to woodworking, carving and veneer marquetry when I was 7 years old. My father and older brothers gave me some instruction, but since then I've been largely self taught. It was a hobby until I retired, and now I have the time to be fully devoted to my creative side. My hope is that I can share the love I have for wood, grain, and different shapes with a wider audience. Unique, hand carved occasional "bowls" are my current obsession - each shape determined by idiosyncrasy of the raw block of wood.
