William is an artist and food lover. An upbringing centred on foraging, cooking, baking and fishing inspired in Co. Cork inspired him to pursue his interest in food. After completing a degree in Fine Art in Limerick College of Art & Design, William went onto study cooking at the world renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School.

Since completing his studies in both cooking and art, William pursued these dual interests in every way possible and started his food business Currabinny with his partner in life and business, James back in 2015.

Williams specializes in creating delicious recipes, celebrating our wonderful Irish food heritage and he also adores writing about food. In his artistic career, William has exhibited all over Ireland and he keeps a busy studio going near Smithfield in Dublin, maintaining a successful business selling his drawings, paintings and prints
