Tobias's passion for the environment is wonderfully showcased in the grounds of Ballymaloe House. Tobias will take you on a walk around Ballymaloe grounds and show you how small changes you make in your garden can have a huge impact for the bees and bugs survival.

You will learn about the importance of biodiversity and the efforts we take to preserve it, different ecosystems and he will show you examples of sensitive initiatives such as wilding plantations, pollinator planting, owl breeding boxes, and a visit to our beehives. Tobias is the Head Groundskeeper and an expert in sustainable land management.
