Paddy Casey is facing his busiest year yet following his single release ‘Everything Must Change’ which hit more than 21,000 views on YouTube in a matter of weeks. The success of the new release caught the attention of many promoters abroad, and with that Paddy has recently been invited to London to play the Emerald Sounds Festival and in the popular Nell’s Jazz & Blues venue run by well-known Irish promoter, Vince Power.
Back home on Irish shores the Dublin musician has played sold-out gigs in the prestigious Whelan’s Live bar and headlined the Temple Bar Tradfest together with another talented Irish singer/songwriter, Mundy.
Paddy’s 2003 smash hit, Saints & Sinners, still gets constant radio airplay. He has been on the forefront of the Irish music scene since his debut album ‘Amen (So Be It)’ in 1999, while his second release ‘Living’ became the biggest seller in Ireland, out-selling even Irish rock legends U2.
Paddy has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with U2 on their Vertigo Tour and also enjoyed a week long sold out residency in Dublin’s prestigious Olympia Theatre as well as the wonderful RDS.
Across the rather large pond Paddy was invited to perform on the famed American TV talk show, The Late Show with David Letterman, which of course Paddy cherished as one of his high points in his musical career.
His most recent albums are ‘The Secret Life Of’ and ‘Best Of Paddy Casey’ . Stay tuned for announcement of a new one!
